Copyright & Takedown
Last updated: 13 July 2026
Front Row respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Service to do the same. This page explains how to report content you believe infringes your copyright, how to submit a counter-notice if your content was removed, and our policy on repeat infringers. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Front Row is operated from the United Kingdom. As a UK-hosted service, we rely on the hosting defence available under the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002, and we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to material once we have actual knowledge that it is unlawful. For users in the United States, we additionally process notices in a manner consistent with the notice-and-takedown procedure of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.
How to submit a copyright notice
If you believe that content on the Service infringes copyright you own or control, send a notice to inbox@prismal.co.uk that includes:
- Your full name and contact details (email address, and postal address if available);
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, including where possible a copy or link to an authorised version of it;
- The specific URL, post, or other location on the Service where the allegedly infringing material appears;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury (for notices submitted under the DMCA) or otherwise confirming the information is accurate, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf; and
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We will review valid notices and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the reported material and notify the user who posted it.
Counter-notice
If you believe content you posted was removed or disabled in error or as a result of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to inbox@prismal.co.uk that includes:
- Your full name, contact details, and a physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location on the Service before removal;
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales (or, for US users submitting a DMCA counter-notice, the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or England and Wales if you are outside the US), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may, at our discretion and where required by applicable law, restore the material unless the original complainant informs us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the user from engaging in infringing activity.
Repeat-infringer policy
We will suspend or terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of third-party intellectual property rights. What counts as "repeat" is assessed at our discretion based on the number, severity, and pattern of valid notices received against an account.
